ESU Foundation holds 31st Annual Educational Scholarship Golf Classic

ESU Foundation establishes $50,000 STEM annual scholarship with support from Sanofi

The 31st Annual Educational Scholarship Golf Classic benefiting the Prince Hall Endowed Scholarship Fund was held on Aug. 1, 2022, at the Green Pond Country Club in Bethlehem, Pa.

In 1988, East Stroudsburg University adopted the Prince Hall Elementary School serving the West Oak Lane section of Philadelphia. The partnership established the Prince Hall Endowed Scholarship Fund which is awarded to Prince Hall scholars who demonstrate outstanding academic performance and a strong civic responsibility. ESU is proud to say that 19 Prince Hall scholars have graduated from ESU because of this scholarship.

Golfers gathered to change the lives of young scholars who dream of a college education. Prince Hall Scholar and ESU alumna Brittany Anthony ’10 M’12 gave an inspiring speech at the dinner reception about how the scholarship has impacted her life since graduation.
