Through the hundreds of scholarship opportunities at the ESU Foundation, students who otherwise would not be able to attend ESU are able to do so through the generous financial support of those who strongly believe in the merits of higher education. 

Athletic Scholarships include:

Acrobatics and Tumbling (Women’s)

Bruno S. Klaus Women's Acrobatic and Tumbling Annual Scholarship
Established by Bruno S. Klaus, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major.  Recipients must be members of the ESU Women's Acrobatic and Tumbling Team in good academic and social standing who are eligible to participate in the sport.  Recipients may receive the scholarship in subsequent years providing it is available and they continue to meet all criteria.  Selected by the ESU women's acrobatic and tumbling head coach.

Gayland Aston '94 and Shelley '92 Speirs-Aston Athletic Annual Scholarship
Established by Gayland Aston '94 and Shelley '92 Speirs-Aston, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate major.  Recipients must be members of the ESU Men's or Women's Cross Country/Track and Field or Acrobatics and Tumbling teams in good academic and social standing who are eligible to participate in their sport.  Additionally, recipients must have completed 30 credits or more and preference will be given to students with documented financial need as determined by FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Aid).  The scholarship is renewable as long as the recipient continue to meet all criteria.  Selected by the ESU Athletic Director.

Athletic Director’s Diversity Endowed Scholarship
Established by East Stroudsburg University Athletics Department, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate major.  Recipients must be full-time students who are members of any ESU athletic team in good academic and social standing who are eligible to participate in their sport. Selected by the ESU athletic director.

Athletic Hall of Fame Annual Scholarship
Established by East Stroudsburg University Athletics Department,  recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate major.  Recipients must be full-time students, members of any ESU intercollegiate athletic team and in good social and academic standing. Selected by the ESU Foundation President and CEO.

Childs Family Endowed Scholarship
Established by members of the Childs family, recipients may be enrolled in any major at ESU if they are members of any ESU athletic team, men’s or women’s, who are academically eligible to participate or students majoring in Physical Education. Recipients must have at least a 2.5 GPA unless they are incoming freshmen. Preference will be given to alumni of the following high schools: Sayre or Athens in Pennsylvania, or Waverly in New York with secondary consideration given to students graduating from high schools in Bradford County, Pennyslvania. Selected by the ESU athletic director. 

Horace S. Cole '63 Memorial Athletic Annual Scholarship
Established in memory of Horace S. Cole '63, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major.  Recipients must be graduates of East Stroudsburg High School South who are full-time students in good academic and social standing and are eligible to participate in their sport.  The recipient will be a member of the ESU Warrior Football Team, but if there is no incoming football player for a specific year, an incoming student athlete from East Stroudsburg High School South who is a member of any ESU Intercollegiate sports team may be the recipient.  If there are multiple qualified recipients for the year, the recipient will be the student with the highest financial need.  If qualified candidates exist, a new incoming student will be selected each year so that the Fund will provide up to five awards annually.  Financial need as determined by FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is preferred.  The scholarship is renewale for up to four additional years as long as the recipient continues to meet all criteria.  Selected by the ESU Athletic Director in consultation with the appropriate ESU head coach.

James and Sandra Knowlden Annual Scholarship
Established in the names of James and Sandra Knowlden, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate major.  One male and one female student will be selected each year.  Recipients must be a member of an ESU athletic team that has qualified for an NCAA Tournament during their career or may be an athlete that has qualified for their respective NCAA Championship in an individual sport.  Additionally, recipients must have completed at least 90 credits with preference to students meeting the PSAC scholarship-athlete standard 3.25 GPA.  Recipients must be in good academic and social standing. Selected by the ESU athletic director.

Arthur '62 and Fannie (Greene) '62 Schisler Athletic Endowed Scholarship
Established by Arthur '62 and Fannie (Greene) '62 Schisler, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate major.  Recipients must be an incoming freshmen who is a graduate of Northampton High School, Northampton, Pa., graduating in the top 50 percent of their class. Recipients must be members of an ESU intercollegiate athletic team in good academic and social standing who are eligible and participate in the sport, with preference given to members of the football team.  Additionally, recipients must be socially and morally upstanding citizens.  Preference will be given to students with financial need as determined by FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). The scholarship is renewable annually provided the recipients continue to meet all criteria and maintain at least a 2.8 GPA.  Selected by the ESU Athletic Director.

Sodexo Athletic Endowed Scholarship
Established by Sodexo Operations, LLC, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major. Recipients must be members of any ESU intercollegiate athletic team.  Additionally, recipients must be in good academic and social standing who are eligible to participate in their sport.  Selected by the ESU athletic director.

Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Leadership Annual Scholarship
Established by the East Stroudsburg University Athletics Department, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major.  Recipients may be full-time or part-time students who are members of any ESU intercollegiate athletic team.  Additionally, recipients must members of the ESU Student Athlete Advisory Committee and be in good academic and social standing who are eligible to participate in their sport.  Selected by the ESU athletic director. 

Vivature Athletic Annual Scholarship
Established by Vivature, Inc., recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major. Recipients may be full-time or part-time students who are members of any ESU intercollegiate athletic team. Additionally, recipients must be in good academic and social standing who are eligible to participate in their sport. Selected by the ESU athletic director.

Warrior Athletics Annual Scholarship
Established by ESU Athleics, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major.  Recipients may be full-time or part-time students who are members of any ESU intercollegiate athletic team and are academically eligible to participate and in good social and academic standing.  Selected by the ESU athletic director.

Francis A. '51 and Ruth C. Wodock Athletic Annual Scholarship
Established in the names of Francis A. '51 and Ruth C. Wodock, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major.  Recipients may be full-time or part-time students who are members of any ESU intercollegiate athletic team and are academically eligible to participate and in good social and academic standing.  Selected by the ESU athletic director.

Baseball Annual Scholarship
Established by the East Stroudsburg University Athletic Department, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate major. Recipients must be full-time students who are members of the ESU Warrior Baseball Team in good social standing and are academically eligible to participate in the sport. Baseball Alumni Annual Scholarship
Established by the East Stroudsburg University Athletic Department, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate major. Recipients must be full-time students who are members of the ESU Warrior Baseball Team in good social standing and are academically eligible to participate in the sport. Selected by the ESU baseball head coach.

Baseball Golf Classic Annual Scholarship
Established to assist members of the ESU Baseball Team, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major at ESU and may be full-time or part-time students. Recipients must be in good social and academic standing and be eligible to participate in the sport. Selected by the ESU baseball head coach.

Gerard Davis and John Kochmansky, Sr. Annual Scholarship
Established in the names of Gerard Davis and John Kochmansky, Sr., recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major at ESU. Recipients must be full-time students who are members of the ESU Baseball Team. Additionally, recipients must be in good social and academic standing who are eligible to participate in the sport. Selected by the ESU Athletic Director with recommendation by the ESU baseball head coach. 

Kathy Grayuski '82 M'88 Memorial Annual Scholarship
Established in memory of Kathy Grayuski '82 M'88, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major.  Recipients must be full-time students who are members of the ESU Football Team, ESU Men's Basketball Team or ESU Baseball Team.  Additionally, recipients must be in good academic and social standing and be eligible to participate in their sport.  One award selected by each of the following:  ESU football head coach, ESU men's basketball head coach, and ESU baseball head coach. 

Hiroko Baseball Annual Scholarship
Established by John '70 and Nancy '82 Harner, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major.  Recipients must be full-time students who are members of the ESU Baseball Team. Additionally, recipients must be in good social and academic standing and be eligible to participate in the sport. This scholarship is not automatically renewable, however, nothing shall prevent a recipient from receiving it in subsequent years if they continue to meet the criteria.  Selected by the ESU baseball head coach.

LaBar, Neidermyer and Reynolds Baseball Annual Scholarship
Established by Tadgh LaBar, Rick Neidermyer and Brett Reynolds, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major. Recipients must be full-time students who are members of the ESU Warrior Baseball Team in good academic and social standing and are eligible to participate in the sport. Selected by the ESU baseball head coach.

Bill '63 & Sandy '64 Lewis Annual Scholarship
Established by Bill '63 & Sandy '64 Lewis, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate major. Recipients must be members of the ESU Football or Baseball Teams (there will be one award for each sport). Additionally, recipients must be full-time students in good academic and social standing who are eligible to participate in their sport.  Selected by the ESU football and baseball head coaches.

Shawn N. Munford Baseball Annual Scholarship
Established by Shawn N. Munford, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major. Recipients may be full-time or part-time students who are members of the ESU Intercollegiate Baseball Team and are in good academic and social standing and are eligible to participate in the sport. Selected by the ESU baseball head coach.

Doc Ock Endowed Scholarship
Established in memory of Dr. George Ockerhausen, an ESU faculty member for 34 years and Chair of the Health Department, recipients may be enrolled in any major.  Recipients must be members of the ESU Baseball, Football or Wrestling Team who has contributed greatly to the sport participated in, as judged by the coaching staff of the student’s sport.  This scholarship rotates among these sports. Recipients must have completed a minimum of 45 credits at ESU.  Selected by the coaching staff of the specified sport in conjunction with the ESU athletic director.  

Pave The Way Baseball Annual Scholarship
Established by Warrior Baseball alumni, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major.  Recipients must be members of the ESU Intercollegiate Baseball Team who are full-time students.  Additionally, recipients must be in good social and academic standing who are eligible to participate in the sport.  Selected by the ESU baseball head coach.

Robert Shebelsky Baseball Annual Scholarship
Established in honor of Robert Shebelsky, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major.  Recipients must be pitchers for the ESU Intercollegiate Baseball Team who are full-time students.  Additionally, recipients must be in good social and academic standing who are eligible to participate in the sport.  Selected by the ESU baseball head coach in conjunction with the ESU Director of Athletics. 

Steve Somers Philanthropy Annual Scholarship
Established by Steve Somers, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major. Recipients must be full-time students who are members of the ESU Warrior Baseball Team who are in good academic and social standing and are eligible to participate in the sport.  The scholarship is not renewable, however, nothing shall prevent a recipient from receiving it in subsequent years if they continue to meet the criteria.  Selected by the ESU baseball team head coach.

Warrior Baseball Achievement Annual Scholarship
Established by ESU Baseball Head Coach John Kochmansky, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major.  Recipients may be full-time or part-time students who are members of the ESU Warrior Baseball Team in good academic and social standing who are eligible to participate in the sport.  Selected by the ESU baseball head coach.

Warrior Baseball Award of Excellence Annual Scholarship
Established by ESU Baseball Head Coach John Kochmansky, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major.  Recipients may be full-time or part-time students who are members of the ESU Warrior Baseball Team in good academic and social standing who are eligible to participate in the sport.  Selected by the ESU baseball head coach.

Established by Dr. Nancy Weaver, Coach Jeff Wilson and supporters of the ESU Men's Basketball team, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major. Recipients may be full-time or part-time students and must be in good academic and social standing who are eligible to participate in the sport.  Selected by the ESU Athletic Director.

Nina ’08 and Ron Atanesian Annual Scholarship
Established by Nina ’08 and Ron Atanesian, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate major. Recipients must be members of the ESU Men’s Basketball Team who are in good academic and social standing and are eligible to participate in the sport. Preference will be given to transfer students. Selected by the ESU men’s basketball head coach.

Eric Bryan '14 Memorial Annual Scholarship
Established in memory of Eric Bryan '14 who was a senior on ESU's 2012 PSAC championship team, starting 30 games.  Eric played in 113 games in four years for the Warriors, among the top 10 in program history.  Recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major. Additionally, recipients may be part-time or full-time students and must be in good academic and social standing and eligible to participate in the sport.  Selected by the ESU men's basketball head coach.

Cedric D. Bullock '87 Men's Basketball Annual Scholarship
Established by Cedric D. Bullock '87, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major. Recipients must be members of the ESU Men’s Basketball Team in good academic and social standing who are eligible to participate in the sport. Selected by the ESU men’s basketball head coach.

Cramer Family Men's Basketball Endowed Scholarship

Jeff Dailey Memorial Annual Scholarship
Established in memory of Jeff Dailey, recipients may be enrolled in any major. Recipients must be full-time students, members of the ESU Men’s Basketball Team and in good academic and social standing. Selected by the ESU men’s basketball head coach.

Dr. Patricia Graham Men's Basketball Annual Scholarship 
Established by Dr. Patricia Graham, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major.  Recipients may be full-time or part-time students who are members of the ESU Men's Basketball Team.  Additionally, recipients must be in good academic and social standing and be eligible to participate in the sport.  Selected by the ESU men's basketball head coach.

Kathy Grayuski '82 M'88 Memorial Annual Scholarship

Sandra K. Hogue '82 Men's Basketball Annual Scholarship
Established by Sandra K. Hogue '82 recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate major. Recipients must be members of the ESU Men's Basketball Team who are African American students in good academic and social standing who are eligible to participate in the sport.  Selected by the ESU men's basketball head coach.

Richard B. Koch '69 Endowed Scholarship

Established in the name of Andy Lee/Braveheart Pub, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate major at ESU. Recipients must be full-time students who are members of the ESU Men’s Basketball Team. Established by Barbara Mayfield '81, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major.  Recipients must be members of the ESU Men's Basketball Team who are full-time or part-time students.  Additionally, recipients must be in good academic and social standing who are eligible to participate in the sport.  Selected by the ESU men's basketball head coach.

Established by the coaches of the ESU Warrior Men’s Basketball team, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate major. Sal Mentesana Men’s Basketball Annual Scholarship
Established by East Stroudsburg University Athletics Department, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate major.  Recipients must be full-time students, members of the ESU Men’s Basketball Team and in good social and academic standing.  Selected by the ESU men’s basketball head coach.

Maury Molin '76 Men's Basketball Annual Scholarship
Established by Maury Molin '76, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major. Recipients may be full-time or part-time students and must be members of the ESU Men's Basketball Team who are in good academic and social standing and are eligible to participate in the sport. Selected by the ESU men's basketball head coach.

Bob and Kathy Moses Men's Basketball Annual Scholarship
Established by Robert M. Moses, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major. Recipients must be members of the ESU Men's Basketball team who are full-time or part-time students, in good academic and social standing who are eligible to participate in the sport. Preference will be given to students demonstrating financial need.  Selected by the ESU men's basketball head coach.

Panaia-Soloway Men’s Basketball Annual Scholarship
Established by Trevin J. Panaia ’97 and Howard Soloway, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate major. Recipients must be members of the ESU Warrior Men’s Basketball team who are full-time students in good academic and social standing who are eligible to participate in their sport. Selected by the ESU men’s basketball head coach.

Potts Family Men's Basketball Annual Scholarship
Established by Justin T. Potts '07, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major.  Recipients must be members of the ESU Men's Basketball team who are full-time or part-time students.  Additionally, recipients must be in good academic and social standing who are eligible to participate in the sport.  Selected by the ESU men's basketball head coach.

Established in the name of Justin Scott '07 M'08, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major.  Recipients must be members of the ESU Men's Basketball team who are full-time or part-time students.  Additionally, recipients must be in good academic and social standing who are eligible to participate in the sport.  Selected by the ESU men's basketball head coach.

Ryan N. Smith Memorial Men's Basketball Annual Scholarship
Established in memory of Ryan N. Smith, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major.  Recipients must be members of the ESU Men's Basketball Team in good academic and social standing who are eligible to participate in the sport.  Selected by the ESU men's basketball head coach.

Geoffrey Spitko '90 Men's Basketball Annual Scholarship
Established by Geoffrey Spitko '90, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major.  Recipients must be members of the ESU Men's Basketball team who are full-time or part-time students.  Additionally, recipients must be in good academic and social standing who are eligible to participate in the sport.  Selected by the ESU men's basketball head coach. 

Stem Family Men's Basketball Annual Scholarship
Established in the name of the Stem Family, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major.  Recipients must be members of the ESU Men's Basketball team who are full-time or part-time students.  Additionally, recipients must be in good academic and social standing who are eligible to participate in the sport.  Selected by the ESU men's basketball head coach.

Blanche and John Stokes Annual Scholarship
Established in the names of Blanche and John Stokes, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate major.  Recipients must be members of the ESU Men's Basketball Team who are in good social and academic standing and are eligible to participate in the sport.  Awarded to an incoming freshman.  The scholarship is not renewable, a new incoming freshman will be selected each year.  Selected by the ESU men's basketball head coach.

Tobin Family Annual Scholarship
Established by Bill, Dennis and Jim Tobin, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate major. Recipients must be full-time students who are members of the ESU Men's Basketball Team in good academic and social standing who are eligible to participate in the sport.  Selected by the ESU men's basketball head coach.

Ed Urie ’93 and Todd Painton '93 Memorial Annual Scholarship
Established in memory of Ed Urie ’93 and Todd Painton '93, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate major. Recipients must be full-time students who are members of the ESU Men’s Basketball Team in good social and academic standing who are eligible to participate. Selected by the ESU men’s basketball head coach. 

Dr. Nancy L. Weaver ’74 Annual Scholarship 
Established by Dr. Nancy L. Weaver ’74, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate major. Recipients must be full-time students who are members of the ESU Men’s Basketball Team and are academically eligible to participate and in good social and academic standing.  Financial need is a consideration, but not a requirement. Selected by the ESU men’s basketball head coach.

Josh '08 and Julianna Wentz Men's Basketball Annual Scholarship
Established by Josh '08 and Julianna Wentz, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major.  Recipients must be members of the ESU Men's Basketball team who are full-time or part-time students.  Additionally, recipients must be in good academic and social standing who are eligible to participate in the sport.  Selected by the ESU men's basketball head coach.

Robert '75 and Julieann Willever Men's Basketball Annual Scholarship
Established by Robert '75 and Julieann Willever, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major.  Recipients may be full-time or part-time students and must be members of the ESU Men's Basketball Team.  Additionally, recipients must be in good academic and social standing and be eligible to participate in the sport.  Selected by the ESU men's basketball head coach.

Amanda K. Buss '00 Women's Basketball Annual Scholarship
Established by Amanda K. Buss '00, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate major.  Recipients must be full-time students and members of the ESU Women’s Basketball Team who are in good social and academic standing.  Additionally, recipients must have financial need as determined by FAFSA (Free Appliction for Federal Student Aid).  Preference will be given to students from Lehigh or Northampton Counties in Pa. or Warren County in NJ.  Recipients may receive the scholarship in subsequent years provided funding is available and the recipient continues to meet all criteria.  Selected by the ESU women’s basketball head coach.

ESU  Women's Basketball Annual Scholarship

Established by Dr. Angelo and Mrs. Kathleen Ortenzi, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major.  Recipients must be members of the ESU Women's Basketball team who are full-time or part-time students.  Additionally, recipients must be in good academic and social standing who are eligible to participate in the sport.  Selected by the ESU women's basketball head coach.

Stacy L. Perryman '97 Women's Basketball Endowed Scholarship
Established in memory of Stacy L. Perryman '97, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate major.  Recipients must be members of the ESU Women's Basketball team who are in good academic and social standing and are eligible to participate in the sport.  Stacy Perryman lived courageously and selflessly, and recipients of this scholarship should demonstrate the same characteristics, both on and off the court.  Stacy taught that the greatest teams are the ones where everybody cares more about the team and their teammates than thenselves.  She was inducted to the ESU Athletic Hall of Fame in 2009 for her accomplishments as a member of the ESU Women' Basketball Team.  Selected by the ESU women's basketball head coach.

Norma H. Ritchie '42 Women's Basketball Endowed Scholarship 
Established by Norma H. Ritchie '42, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate major. Recipients must be members of the ESU Women's Basketball Team who have completed at least 30 credits with a minimum GPA of 3.0.  Additionally, recipients must have demonstrated financial need as determined by FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).  Selected by the ESU women's basketball head coach.  

Waters-Kimes Annual Scholarship
Established by Dr. Faith H. Waters and Reverend Dr. Edward C. Kimes, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate major.  Recipients must be students of color who are members of the ESU Women's Basketball Team in good academic and social standing who are eligible to participate in the sport.  Preference will be given to students with financial need as determined by FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).  The scholarship is renewable as long as the recipient continues to meet all criteria.  Selected by the ESU women's basketball head coach.

Established by Anthony J. Guarino '19, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major but must be members of the ESU Intercollegiate Football Team.  Recipients must be full-time students in good academic and social standing who are eligible to participate in the sport.  Additionally, preference will be given to candidates meeting the following prioritized criteria:
1. Incoming freshman who is a member of the Phillipsburg, NJ High School Football Team,
2. Majoring in a degree within the ESU College of Business and Management,
3. Minimum GPA of 3.2 after their freshman year,
4. ESU Football offensive skill position player.
The scholarship is renewable as long as the recipient continues to meet the criteria and funding is available.  Selected by the ESU football head coach.

Miles Montague Football Annual Scholarship
Established through the estate of Kathryn T. Montague in memory of her son, Miles Montague, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major.  Recipients must be members of the ESU Intercollegiate Football Team who are in good academic and social standing and are eligible to participate in the sport.  Preference will be given to students with demonstrated financial need as determined by FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).  Additionally, recipients should exemplify the character traits that were important to Miles Montague who had a strong moral compass and sense of what was fair.  He was humble and had an exceptional work ethic. He expected nothing less than his very best and led quietly by example. Selected by the ESU football head coach. 

Maury Molin ’76 Annual Scholarship
Established by Maury Molin ’76, recipients may be enrolled in any major. Recipients must be members of the ESU Football Team who are academically and socially eligible to participate. Students must a minimum GPA of 2.5 with preference given to students who have completed at least 60 credits. This scholarship is not automatically renewable, but recipients may receive it in subsequent years if it is available. Financial need is a consideration, but not a requirement. Selected by the ESU football head coach.

Doc Ock Endowed Scholarship
Established in memory of Dr. George Ockerhausen, an ESU faculty member for 34 years and Chair of the Health Department, recipients may be enrolled in any major.  Recipients must be members of the ESU Baseball, Football or Wrestling Team who has contributed greatly to the sport participated in, as judged by the coaching staff of the student’s sport.  This scholarship rotates among these sports. Recipients must have completed a minimum of 45 credits at ESU.  Selected by the coaching staff of the specified sport in conjunction with the ESU athletic director.  

Tom Petro Family Football Annual Scholarship
Established in the name of the Tom Petro family, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate major at ESU. Recipients must be full-time students who are members of the ESU Football Team. Additionally, recipients must be in good social and academic standing and be eligible to participate in the sport. Selected by the ESU football head coach.

Established in memory of James and Sarah Rhine, who through hard work and sacrifice, made it possible for their son to attend college.  This scholarship carries on their legacy by providing the same opportunity for current and future first-generation college students at East Stroudsburg University.  Recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate major, with preference given to students majoring in Biology and Athletic Training.  Recipients must be members of the ESU Warrior Football Team in good social standing who are eligible to participate in the sport.  Additionally, recipients must be first generation college students who have completed at least 30 credits with a minimum GPA of 2.8.  Financial need as determined by FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is required.  This scholarship is renewable provided that the recipient continues to meet all criteria.  Selected by the ESU football head coach.

Carol A. Stokes '73 Annual Scholarship
Established by Carol A. Stokes '73, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate major.  Recipients must be members of the ESU Football Team who are in good academic and social standing and who are eligible to participate in the sport.  The scholarship will be awarded to an incoming freshman and is not renewable, a new incoming freshman will be selected each year.  Selected by the ESU football head coach. 

Roger Straub '94 Football Annual Scholarship
Established by Roger Straub '94, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major with preference given to undergraduate students majoring in one of the sciences, preferably Biology.  Recipients must be members of the ESU Warrior Football Team who are in good academic and social standing and who are eligible to participate in the sport. Additionally, preference will be given to defensive backs.  Selected by the ESU football head coach.

Elsie E. Strube Memorial Endowed Scholarship
Established in memory of Elsie E. Strube, recipients may be enrolled in any major.  Recipients must be freshman members of the ESU Football Team. Renewable for up to four years by maintaining a minimum 2.3 GPA and participation on the football team. Selected by the ESU football head coach.

Established in memory of Duane Struppler, Jr., recipients may be enrolled in any major.  Recipients must be full-time students who are members of the ESU Football Team who have at least a 2.5 GPA.  Selected by the ESU football head coach.

Doc Sutton Annual Scholarship
Established by Doc Sutton, recipients must be majoring in Physical Education with a concentration in Teaching and/or Sports Management.  Recipients must be an offensive lineman (tackle, guard or center) on the varsity football team who is eligible to participate in accordance with NCAA regulations.  Selected by the ESU football head coach.

Established by Walter '77 and Nancy Rogers, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major.  Recipients must be members of the ESU Women's Lacrosse Team who have a minimum 3.0 GPA, are in good social standing and who are eligible to participate in the sport.  Incoming freshmen are eligible, and the scholarship is renewable to recipients who continue to meet all criteria.  Recipients graduating in December may receive the full award in the fall semester.  Selected by the ESU women's lacrosse head coach.

Barry S. Krammes ’04 Annual Scholarship
Established in honor of the legendary Barry S. Krammes ’04, former two-time All-American in javelin for the Warriors and ranked top five in the USA for five years after his college graduation, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate major. Recipients must be members of the ESU Intercollegiate Men’s Track and Field Team who are throwers. Students must be in good academic and social standing with a minimum GPA of 2.7. Selected by the ESU men’s track and field coaches.

Krawitz Family Athletic Endowed Scholarship
Established in honor of the Krawitz Family, avid supporters of ESU Athletics, recipients may be enrolled in any major with priority given to students majoring in areas in the College of Health Sciences.  Recipients must be members of the ESU Intercollegiate Cross Country or Track and Field Teams.  This scholarship is renewable provided the recipient maintains at least a 2.7 GPA.  Financial need as determined by FAFSA is required.  Selected by the ESU track head coach.

Brian E. McClanahan ’86 Memorial Endowed Scholarship
Established in memory of Brian E. McClanahan ’86, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate major. Recipients must be enrolled full-time, participate in ESU’s Track and Field program and have completed a minimum of 60 credits at ESU with at least an overall GPA of 2.5.  The scholarship is renewable if the recipient continues to meet all criteria and has successfully completed at least 90 credits at ESU. Selected by the ESU track head coach.

Nick Merli Endowed Scholarship
Established in memory of Nick Merli, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate major. Recipients must be full-time students who are members of the ESU Men’s or Women’s Track and Field Team and have attained at least sophomore status with a minimum overall GPA of 2.5.  This scholarship is renewable provided all criteria continue to be met.  Selected by the ESU track and field head Coach.

Maury Molin '76 Men's Track Annual Scholarship
Established by Maury Molin '76, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate major.  Recipients must be members of the ESU Men's Track & Field or Cross Country teams.  Additionally, recipients must be in good academic standing with a minimum GPA of 2.5. Recipients must also be in good social standing and be eligible to participate in the sport.  If the recipient is an incoming freshman they must have a minimum 2.5 GPA in high school.  Selected by the ESU men's track & field head coach.

Peter Nevins ’84 Endowed Scholarship for Cross-Country, Track & Field
Established in memory of Peter Nevins ’84, recipients may be enrolled in any major.  Recipients must be members of the ESU Cross-Country and/or Track and Field Team who are eligible to participate in accordance with NCAA regulations and have a minimum overall GPA of 2.7.  This scholarship is renewable provided that all criteria continue to be met.  Financial need as determined by FAFSA is required, and is the primary factor. Selected by the ESU track and field head coach.

Anthony Ruiz '16 Men's Cross Country Annual Scholarship
Established by Anthony Ruiz '16, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate major.  Preference is given to incoming freshmen.  Recipients must be members of the ESU Men's Cross Country Team who are in good academic and social standing and are eligible to participate in the sport.  Selected by the ESU men's cross country head coach.

Established by the McMunn Family, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major. Recipients must be members of the ESU Men's Wrestling Team who are full-time students in good academic and social standing and are eligible to participate in the sport.  Selected by the ESU men's wrestling head coach in conjunction with the ESU athletic director.

Coach Anibal Nieves Men's Wrestling Annual Scholarship
Established by ESU Men's Wrestling Head Coach Anibal Nieves, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major. Recipients must be members of the ESU Men's Wrestling Team who are full-time students in good academic and social standing and are eligible to participate in the sport.  Selected by the ESU Athletic Director with recommendations by the men's wrestling head coach.

Doc Ock Endowed Scholarship
Established in memory of Dr. George Ockerhausen, an ESU faculty member for 34 years and Chair of the Health Department, recipients may be enrolled in any major.  Recipients must be members of the ESU Baseball, Football or Men's Wrestling Team who has contributed greatly to the sport participated in, as judged by the coaching staff of the student’s sport.  This scholarship rotates among these sports. Recipients must have completed a minimum of 45 credits at ESU.  Selected by the coaching staff of the specified sport in conjunction with the ESU athletic director.  

G. James Purdy, Jr. '68 Wrestling Annual Scholarship
Established by G. James Purdy, Jr. '68, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major.  Recipients must be members of the ESU Men's Wrestling Team in good academic and social standing who are eligible to participate in the sport.  Selected by the ESU men's wrestling head coach. 

William G. Regan '78 Wrestling Annual Scholarship
Established by William Regan '78, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major. Recipients must be members of the ESU Men's Wrestling Team in good academic and social standing who are eligible to participate in the sport.  Selected by the ESU men's wrestling head coach. 

Richard Schumacher '70 Wrestling Annual Scholarship
Established by ESU Wrestling Head Coach Joey Rivera in honor of Richard Schumacher '70, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major.  Recipients may be full-time or part-time students who are members of the ESU Warrior Men's Wrestling Team.  Additionally, recipients must be in good academic and social standing and be eligible to participate in the sport.  Selected by the ESU men's wrestling head coach.

Dr. Gregory Shoemaker '80 Wrestling Annual Scholarship
Established by Dr. Gregory Shoemaker '80, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major.  Recipients must be members of the ESU Men's Wrestling Team in good academic and social standing who are eligible to participate in the sport.  Selected by the ESU men's wrestling head coach. 

Clyde “Red” Witman Endowed Scholarship
Established in honor of Clyde “Red” Witman, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major.  Recipients must be members of the ESU Men's Wrestling Team in good academic and social standing who are eligible to participate in the sport.  Selected by the ESU men's wrestling head coach. 

Men's Wrestling Annual Scholarship
Established in 2017 through a campaign to increase wrestling scholarships, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major.  Recipients must be members of the ESU Warrior Men's Wrestling Team in good academic and social standing who are academically eligible to participate in the sport.  Selected by the ESU Head Men's Wrestling Coach with approval of the ESU Director of Athletics.

Established by Doug Arena '93, Jon Loerchner '92 and Russ Scorese '92, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major.  Recipients must be members of the ESU Women's Wrestling Team in good academic and social standing who are eligible to participate in the sport.  Selected by the ESU women's wrestling head coach.

Lou '77 and Karen '79 Colling Women's Wrestling Annual Scholarship
Established by Lou '77 and Karen '69 Collins, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate major.  Recipients must be members of the ESU Women's Wrestling Team who have completed at least 30 credits and are in good academic and social standing.  Recipients must be eligible to participate in the sport.  Selected by the ESU women's wrestling head coach. 

Mitch Cordova '92 Women's Wrestling Annual Scholarship
Established by Mitch Cordova '92, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major.  Recipients must be members of the ESU Women's Wrestling Team in good academic and social standing who are eligible to participate in the sport.  Selected by the ESU women's wrestling head coach.

Gerard P. Dick Women's Wrestling Annual Scholarship
Established in the name of Gerard P. Dick, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate major.  Recipients must be members of the ESU Women's Wrestling Team who are in good academic and social standing and are eligible to participate in the sport.  Awarded to an incoming freshman.  The scholarship is not renewable, a new incoming freshman will be selected each year.  Selected by the ESU women's wrestling head coach.

Established in the name of the Ernst Family, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate major.  Recipients must be members of the ESU Women's Wrestling Team in good academic and social standing who are eligible to participate in the sport.  Selected by the ESU women's wrestling head coach.

Charlie Ritchie Women's Wrestling Annual Scholarship
Established by Charlie Ritchie, recipients may be enrolled in any undergraduate major.  Recipients must be members of the ESU Women's Wrestling Team in good academic and social standing who are eligible to participate in the sport.  Preference will be given to recipients with financial need as determined by FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).  Selected by the ESU women's wrestling head coach.
