Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northeast PA supports Swim and Gym Thanks to the generosity of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northeast Pennsylvania, children with physical disabilities will have the opportunity to participate in East Stroudsburg University’s community-based Swim and Gym Program. The $5,998 grant awarded to the East Stroudsburg University Foundation will be used to purchase adaptive sporting equipment. “The primary goal of this program is to provide children with disabilities with a great opportunity to learn fundamental sport skills, improve social skills, and enjoy physical activity in the community,” said ESU professor Dr. Mihye Jeong, director of the program. “This is a great opportunity for both children with disabilities and our future educators and professionals.” Read More...
