Emergency Funds

Students may apply for funds when they have exhausted all other resources. This funding is not intended to replace or supplement existing financial aid and does not have to be repaid.

Macmillan-Leiding Student Emergency Assistance Fund

Established with the fund held by The Service and Research Foundation of E.S.S.C., Inc. upon its dissolution. The Service and Research Foundation of E.S.S.C., Inc. was incorporated in 1976 with the stated purpose of receiving funds for the benefit of East Stroudsburg State College. To provide emergency relief for students in good academic standing who have urgent financial needs not covered by traditional financial aid measures. The relief will be in the form of grants. A major consideration will be the possibility that the grant will make it possible for a student to remain at the university rather than dropping out.
