GRADUATE STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

Scholarship Description:

The APSCURF Chapter at East Stroudsburg University will grant two (2) $500 scholarships for the spring 2024 semester:

  • One (1) scholarship to a Graduate student in College of Arts and Science
  • One (1) scholarship to a Graduate student in College of Business Management 

NOTE: Students who will be serving as Graduate Assistants for the spring 2024 semester will NOT be considered for these scholarships.

Scholarship Criteria:

  • Applicants must be enrolled in a master's degree or certification program in either the College of Arts and Science or College of Business Management for the spring 2024 semester.
  • Applicants will be selected on the basis of the following criteria:
  1. Career goal(s)
  •  Clearly and succinctly state your short-term and long-term career goals. (Where do you want to be/What do you want to be doing professionally 5 years/10 years in the future).

2. Academic record

  • Indicate your overall Graduate GPA as well as your Major/Area of Certification GPA.  Also indicate all academic awards/recognitions you have received.

3. Community service

  • List/Provide evidence of all community service you have provided.

Application Process:

All graduate students enrolled for the spring 2024 semester in the College of Arts and Science and College of Business Management will receive scholarship information and application via ESU Foundation early in the fall 2023 semester.

Applicants for the scholarships must submit their completed applications on-line to the ESU Foundation no later than November 30, 2023.

Additional information:

  • Scholarship Recipients will be selected prior to December 31, 2023, and they will be notified prior to the start of the spring 2024 semester.
  • Members of the APSCURF Scholarship Committee will select the successful applicants.
