Holiday Cookie Bake-Off Winners

Approximately 75 East Stroudsburg University employees and friends celebrated the holidays with a cookie bake-off at the ESU Foundation’s Annual Open House on Dec. 9 at the Henry A. Ahnert, Jr. Alumni Center.

This year’s winner in the Judge’s Favorite Category was Nicole Rogai, ESU Foundation Regional Gift Officer, who made Holiday Bark.

Samantha Werkheiser, ESU Economic Development & Entrepreneurial Clerical Assistant, won in the Fan Favorite Category with Red & Green Velvet Cookies.

Judges were Terry Barry, Dean of the College of Education, MaryEllen Dickey, ESUF Board Member, and Santiago Solis, Vice President of Campus Life and Inclusive Excellence.

Guests also had the pleasure of tasting 15 kinds of holiday treats throughout the afternoon.
