ESU Foundation Hosts Second 'Thank A Donor Day'
East Stroudsburg Foundation Expresses Gratitude to Scholarship Donors Through Student and Staff Contributions

The East Stroudsburg University Foundation hosted its second annual “Thank A Donor Day” on April 23, 2025, at the Dansbury Commons Plaza. The event invited all ESU students, faculty, and staff to show gratitude to private donors who have supported the university.
"Thank A Donor Day" provided an opportunity for students to show gratitude for the generous contributions that have shaped East Stroudsburg University. Both students and staff came together to create videos and write impact statements, sharing personal stories, successes and hopes for the future. These sincere messages highlighted the profound influence of scholarships and the life-changing potential of education.
To encourage participation, the Foundation awarded several prizes, recognizing students who actively engaged in the event and shared their messages of gratitude. The prize winners are listed below:
- Mary Popiclarz – $25 Weis Gift Card
- Marquise Brunson – $30 Gift Card to Sarah Street Grill
- Natalie Alvarez – Amazon Echo Dot
- Grace Shaner – Golf for Two at Shawnee
- Tori Lamendola – River Trip for Two through Shawnee
- Jahmeer Stratton – $50 GIANT Gift Card
