ESU Foundation welcomes two alumni to Board of Directors

The East Stroudsburg University Foundation is pleased to announce the addition of two distinguished alumni to its Foundation Board of Directors. Michael D. Rhine ’00 and Sean P. Crawford ’99 bring with them extensive professional experience and a strong commitment to advancing the mission of the ESU Foundation.

Rhine is executive vice president and chief operating officer of Onsite Health & Telemedicine at Concentra, where he oversees national operations of both the Onsite Health and Telemedicine business units. A 2000 graduate of ESU with a bachelor’s degree in biology, he was a four-year starter on the football team and went on to earn a doctorate in physical therapy from Duke University. He remains actively engaged with ESU through scholarship support and as a member of The 1893 Society and President’s Circle.

Crawford is president of Crawford Wilcox & Associates, a national independent life and group health insurance agency. He earned his bachelor’s degree from ESU in 1999 and is a former professional soccer player and ESU Athletics Hall of Fame inductee. He has supported ESU through multiple initiatives, including the Sheska Soccer Stadium Campaign, the Men’s Soccer Fund, and annual scholarships.

Anthony V. Ruiz ’16, Esq., chairman of the ESU Foundation Board of Directors, said the Foundation is excited to welcome both alumni leaders to the board.

“Mike and Sean exemplify the values of ESU and the ESU Foundation through their professional achievement, leadership, and continued commitment to giving back,” Ruiz said. “We are grateful for their willingness to serve and look forward to the impact they will have in supporting our students and advancing the mission of the Foundation.”
